- INSTRUCTION FOR USE THE NEW MEGABASE 4.5 WITH "GOOD TOOLS" SOFTWARE - 

From Megabase 4.5 you can use the front-end for PLAY your roms in your HD and not only see the screenshot.

The big news is that now the Databases of games will be compatible with the "GOOD TOOLS Software" for renaming roms.

You must know that "GOOD TOOLS" utility can recognize all your roms (is not important the single name of every file! ) and RENAME IT. This new name of every file is compatible with "Database of Megabase" and with screenshot of games...

These is the steps that you must follow for do it (this is the example for LYNX) :  

1- Download the new Megabase 4.5 , The new screenshot file & the GOODLYNX (Good Tools) here.

2- Put all your Lynx roms in a directory (you can use also the "..\megabase\console\lynx\games\" directory) and put here also the "Good Tools" files.

3- Now go in this directory (In DOS) and launch the Good Tools with this option :

    "GOODLYNX.EXE RENAME"

4- Now in the subdirectory "LYNXREN" you will find all the rom files with new name.

5- To complete installation you must move all the roms in the directory
"..\megabase\console\lynx\games\".
